2025
work from the communitydemo.blog aims to provide a space where artists can have an online platform to present their work, especially highlighting (though not limited to) Sacramento artists. We welcome submissions of all types whether that be an essay, a piece of criticism, a poem, or artwork. Our submission guidelines are anything goes!
For our first submission cycle, the demo team will review and publish submissions on a rolling basis, materials may be sent to 4demo.blog@gmail.com by June 1st. Though submissions close on June 1st, we will continue to review and publish works.

AARON BELMAN
Aaron Belman’s illustration work centers on the expressive power of the human face. Transformations captures moments of tension, humor, and introspect through bold lines with each portrait telling a story. His style blends contemporary influences with a deep appreciation for visual storytelling, inviting viewers to pause and feel the emotional undercurrents behind each gaze. You can find more of his work on instagram @aaronbelman_art or on his website www.aaronbelmanart.com .
TESS DUKESHIRE
This piece is a nod to the iconic Bernie moment at the 2021 inauguration—bundled up, masked up, and clearly not there for the spectacle. I loved how effortlessly relatable and unbothered he looked, so I wanted to capture that with warm colors and a cozy, soft vibe. It’s part meme, part comfort image, and all about finding small joys in weird, unprecedented times.
